So when's your Tedious but traditional New Car thread going to be arriving ???
Re: Tedious but traditional New Car thread
And it has arrived at my house with no scary incidents, other than me finding the kickdown switch while on eco pro, and laughing like a twat

You’ve got pretty high hopes if you want beany to take a picture of his car in the night.
How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Tedious but traditional New Car thread
My pal and me stopped for some chips after I had the colour drain out of me transferring such a large amount of money (by my standards, pocket change to both our SJs that, and I'm scottish...) but it was in a tight backstreet so no opportunity so far.Sundayjumper wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 5:53 pmIn my world, it's customary to stop for a McDonalds on the way home and take a photo.
It's actually a rule that you have McDonalds whenever you buy a car.
Traditional shitty photo coming up.

Re: Tedious but traditional New Car thread
You did a large transfer up a tight backstreet ?
Re: Tedious but traditional New Car thread
Sure, why not?
Re: Tedious but traditional New Car thread
It's bloody nice for it. I mean, it's not a Jag XJ, but the smooth gearchanges, low revs and gentle acceleration (unless you stab it) are a good mix for just pootling aboot town.
Re: Tedious but traditional New Car thread
I always used to stop at the Old Leather Bottle at Earlsfield when I bought a car. Which was only four cars during the time I lived in SW London but it still felt like a tradition.Sundayjumper wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 5:53 pmIn my world, it's customary to stop for a McDonalds on the way home and take a photo.

Looks great! Is it Le Mans Blue?
Re: Tedious but traditional New Car thread
Ah - that's a classic M-colour IIRC. Looks great.

How about not having a sig at all?
