They launched the 'Creativity Program Beta' back in September, which was the new version of the Creator Fund. Previously, people would get something around £0.01 - £0.02 per 1000 views, so even when getting 10m views a month I never broke past £200.
On the new fund, they're paying around £0.50 - £1.10 per 1000 eligible views, which seems to be roughly half of total views. Therefore on 10m views per month I would have been getting ~£2,500 or possibly more. When it comes to short form video, TikTok are paying the most, followed by Facebook for 1min+, then YouTube Shorts. Instagram has no monetisation in place right now.
My issue with TikTok is that the app has logged my geolocation as Ecuador because that's where I first downloaded the app - a country which is not eligible for the CPB - and there is no way to change it. There's about 30 creators in the same boat and my contact at TikTok said they have created an internal team to sort it out. Fingers crossed!
