Black wheels I agree.
But anthracite look great on most cars. I far prefer the Ferric MV3 on my E91 and the anthracite Cup wheels I had on my 197. Andthe light anthracite turbines I had on my mk1 Clio 16v

Yes....
Re: Your fleet running reports
Insurance renewal on the Up - paid £300 last year, although I've had the remap since, and the new price was £600. I've only managed to get this down to £515 but still feels expensive on a car like this. I guess all the kids smashing up these cars, the general inflation and insurance price rises all contribute.
Since selling the 4C about 8 months back I'm still not sure where to go next. Oddly enough, I do regret selling it, which is unusual for me as I'm usually happy to move on. Car market is still declining (not on the 4C's, or the Evora 400's, though!) so I'll just wait it out and enjoy the interest for now.

Had the Previa back 2 weeks after having new turbo, various valves and gubbins, a full service at just under £2k and someone drove into the side of us tonight. Currently sat in A&E with one of the kids with a neck pain
Sliding door is wrecked and rear bumper ripped off. Rear quarter has a small dint had lots of scratches. Wheel heavily scratched.
Might Polish out....

Happy Christmas
Hope everyone is OK and you get the car sorted.

Nothing major injury wise, but getting checked to be safe.
Luckily not returned my dad's old Jazz, so we are still able to stick to our Xmas plans.

Hope your little one is well Nick! And that A&E is running smoothly.
Re: Your fleet running reports
Well feck, I hope nothing's found in a&e and you get a chance to enjoy at least some of tomorrow.
Re: Your fleet running reports
Hopefully just a bit of a strain and nothing too serious. Physio is 100% worth it after car accidents, it helps with the long term after effects- so if it’s offered definitely accept it- especially if insurance offers private as there’s a massive backlog with NHS physio appointmentsNGRhodes wrote: ↑Sun Dec 24, 2023 10:34 pm Had the Previa back 2 weeks after having new turbo, various valves and gubbins, a full service at just under £2k and someone drove into the side of us tonight. I still get shoulder and neck pain when I get tired or cold from a crash 11 years ago. A few stretches and exercises help ease off quick enough
Re: Your fleet running reports
Had a firm, reliable offer on the 330 (guy breaks cars but has bumped into me a few times and offered to buy it from me for himself rather than for breaking, I've caved and said I'll be in touch probably march-april once I've sorted the current brace of issues etc) so question is:
E9x or F3x 335i? Or F2x 135i?
Or are there other similarly powerful reasonably comfy, reasonably fun mid-sized cars I should be looking at?
I do miss having an estate...
Max of £10k. Not at the stage of 'what next' thread, just looking for simple recommendations.

Re: Your fleet running reports
I know nothing about any of their problems or foibles but out of that list I'd have the 135i for no other reason than it reminds me of the old school RWD hot hatch era, Chevette HS, Lotus Sunbeam etc.
Re: Your fleet running reports
Yeah I only just realised they're within my £10k budget and 'mega hatch' is one of those boxes I didn't realise I could tick.
Easy software remap to 400bhp without major boltons, too. Obviously same applies for the 3-series but a 1-series is a bit smaller, a (tiny) bit lighter, etc.
Re: Your fleet running reports
I also vote for 135i
Do it do it do it etc etc

Re: Your fleet running reports
I can see 3dr manual 135i's becoming a bit of a cult car.
I also like the earlier 130i LE

Re: Your fleet running reports
Yeah, I'm liking the 135i idea more and more.
Shame it weighs as much as the E46 convertible. That's not even an exaggeration, they're 1500kg!
Do the F2x work with android auto/carplay?
