A few interesting things there. The "Scottish Collection" seems to consist mostly of rust.

I've wanted to go to one of the Anglia Car Auctions for a decent number of years, but even though it's only ~1hr 20min away, I haven't got round to it yet
Oui, je suis un motard.

Even closer to me - and you go past Beers Of Europe on the way into Kings Grim
I'll have the MG with the red wheels.

Cat N and no history and very cheap - yeah, that’s me !jamcg wrote: ↑Thu Nov 02, 2023 9:25 pm https://angliacarauctions.co.uk/classic ... al-gt-auto
One for sundayjumper, cheap Bentley gt
I think I’d prefer the Arnage though:

It’s the early version with the BMW engine - purists hate it but it’s a lot more reliable than the “proper” engine that dates back to the fifties.
Re: Anglia Car Auctions
The 'autombilia' section is ridiculous. Are they even allowed to auction stolen road and traffic signs? Surprised there's not any old traffic cones in there!

The Panda 4x4 was the first one that caught my eye scrolling down the page.
Left over crest; tightens.

Re: Anglia Car Auctions
Plenty of choice for Chris there - the Galant, the MG ZS180s, the 528i...
I opened the details page for the silver 2003 Civic Type R thinking an original one of those would be nice. Considering how much effort must have been put into making the alloys pristine, they could have done the bodywork a bit better: O/S front wing a very different shade, N/S rear quarter looks like it may have been blown over with a rattle can at home and the front wing/bumper alignment is awful.

Re: Anglia Car Auctions
I'd have this Cooper S as a runaround:
https://angliacarauctions.co.uk/classic ... i-cooper-s
E93 M3, Cat N but looks OK and the guide price is reasonable:

I'd rather have the later Camden special edition version: https://angliacarauctions.co.uk/classic ... r-s-camden - similar guide price.Sundayjumper wrote: ↑Fri Nov 03, 2023 10:36 am I'd have this Cooper S as a runaround:

However, preferable to both is this LCI R53 on eBay. One owner! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/134781869671

And probably all of my future spare money until I give up and sell it for a mahoooosive loss.

Huh ? Guide on mine is No Reserve, yours is £4k-£6k.Jobbo wrote: ↑Fri Nov 03, 2023 10:38 amI'd rather have the later Camden special edition version: https://angliacarauctions.co.uk/classic ... r-s-camden - similar guide price.Sundayjumper wrote: ↑Fri Nov 03, 2023 10:36 am I'd have this Cooper S as a runaround:

Regardless, I need a supercharged car to tick that off the list.
Re: Anglia Car Auctions
Whoops - I looked back through the list and there is a grey Cooper S cabrio with a guide of £4-5k that I mistook for the hard top you linked.
Still prefer an LCI version with LSD and the gearbox which doesn't break.
Superchargers: meh, widely used by low-powered 4-cyl Mercs a decade or more ago, sound whiney and kill fuel economy (if my Volvo was anything to go by).
