Unless there’s some backward states in America where they don’t care, that means the car can’t ever be driven on the road and can only be used for spare parts.

So he’s just got a very expensive track car now. Makes sense why he’s spending the minimum just to get it going - probably no one to give him a free battery pack
Beyond taking it to Sema and filming a few videos of it driving on a race track it’s just going to be a nice looking paperweight which grew his YouTube channel along the way.
im not sure installing a full carbon fibre body kit is the minimum?
I think it was in terms of price? I don’t think there’s any used parts and replacement parts from McLaren cost far more.
How about not having a sig at all?

repairing the existing panels would be the minimum.

Most of the lower panels are exposed carbon, no doubt it be ok to repair it but it would look crap for a show car destined for a major car show.

you have persevere to get through the first minute (he's pretty annoying) - but it's difficult to argue with the rest.

I like Rich Rebuilds - was watching his early Tesla repair stuff years ago. He's usually pretty on the money with his opinions.

However... watching that video he misses the point. I'll take Chris Harris' opinion over Rich on this. It isn't just about raw power.

Not a new one, but I just watched it again - rather transfixed - and therefore you should too. :geek:

I'm not suggesting it's an MST car, but it has again spiked my lust for a Euromillions-win MST Escort build. 8-)

Saw a video of a guy in a large industrial sewer/drainage pumping truck absolutely nail it into the ford. A few bits of plastic flew off the front of the truck as he hit the water, launching a tsunami and the whole thing conked out halfway through the ford. On the door it had a 'vehicle hire' sticker.

The insurance excess on hire cars are high, like £1,500 for a car. However, if you fuck up a massive industrial truck by being a complete and utter bell-end, and that idiocy is documented on social media, I've got a feeling the hire company are going to be coming after you for the entire cost of the repair, rather than just an excess. The driver really fucked that one up.

I came across Geoff Buys Cars on Youtube a couple of weeks ago when I was looking for floods. He's quite an endearing chap and has just done a JOGLE collaboration with The MacMaster who Youtube keeps unfathomably promoting but who is facile and annoying. Clearly more for clicks because on Geoff's videos he's nowhere near as bad.

Anyway, I quite like Geoff's channel: https://www.youtube.com/@GeoffBuysCars

I generally enjoy this channel but this project has been pretty interesting.

Much less hassle than hoovie seemed to have. They are all pretty handy mechanics though.

An absolute unit
