Saw a lovely dark blue M3 wagon yesterday in t'Borders. Not sure if it was Ascender's as wheels could have been any colour

I was expecting a hard cringe at some James Bond awfulness, but that one’s ok 😁

Wonder if they actually drove it from Switzerland. Does look pretty suitable for London

They've really gone boring with the colours on the new Little Tyke models.

A boring but very odd spot

A very new Audi A3, in mint condition externally however all the airbags in it were deployed!
It was in full crash mode, windows partly lowered, hazards on and making all sorts of bonging noises.

and parked in two spaces so it doesn't get hit
I wonder if they'd driven over a kurb/divide and it thought it might roll? :?

My bet is someone’s reversed into it. The bumper probably bounced back and the paint stayed intact as they’re designed for that now. The car has just had a massive overreaction

Also u less that’s a fault and Audi fix it under warranty that’ll be a write off, insurance companies aren’t interested in repairing dashboards

I didn’t look at it too closely, went past both sides and it seemed alright, had a plastic bollard behind it which you can just make out in the pics. Also haven’t cars had intelligent airbags for donkeys years now so if you reverse into something the front airbags shouldn’t open?

Professing that your M44 engine is giving you Fastest Time of the Day is a strong move.

I love Ultimas, but didn’t like this when it was up for sale, and don’t like it now. :?

I understand the appeal of Tats, but she just feels like the total embodyment of the "I saw you coming" ladies

Regarding Ultimas...I've never understood the appeal. Its one purchase of yours I won't be copying, Mik.

Confuzzled. Is it an Ultima or a Bentley ? Putting Bentley stickers on an Ultima is stoopid.

For the record - I love the idea of an Ultima but they look too big & fast to use properly on the road.

Edit - oh. Chevy engine with Bentley rocker covers. Don't like.

I recall someone posting the auction up for this at the time. I think it turns a cool car into something that’s frankly embarrassing to be seen in. Also I think it has a bespoke bushy kit to look more like the Bentley?

Maybe - hopefully, if he's not had it long - he'll de-Bellentley it. The problem is Chevy -> GM -> Chrysler -> Bentley.

Also, Silverstone Auctions now Iconic Auctioneers
