Teh Spotted Thread
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
I was behind a very early Mercedes ML55 on the M1 today, surprisingly devoid of rust too.
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Money != Taste....also the wonky number plate really helps sell the quality too.

How to make your Ferrari look like a cheap kit car!
How about not having a sig at all?

Off roadable Lamborghini: cool
Off roadable Lamborghini in Knightsbridge: not cool

Love how the advert talks about the aerodynamic efficiency and downforce levels of the car, all of which they’ve fucked with all that tat that’s stuck to it
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
A BAC Mono, think it’s the first time I’ve seen one on the public road.

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Renault Clio …Alpine.
Didn’t look particularly sporty to me so I looked it up just now. It’s just a regular Clio with an Alpine trim 0-60 in over 9 seconds ffs.
Surely it should be a Clio Cup type car?!

Probably more suited to the dull men’s club, but I was following a red 61 plate Astra GTC - the ‘sporty’ 3 door of the time.
Then we had to stop at a roundabout, and out came another red Astra GTC, a 62 plate. Very strange following two the same shape and colour together given that I can’t remember them being all that popular.
Even more bizarre, they both had a non-working right hand boot lid tail light.
A very odd glitch in the matrix. Wish I’d had a ( very boring) photo of the two together

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Came up behind a 360 Challenge Stradale tonight (or at least a 360 with a stripe - I didn't check the reggie).
It was on an A-Road, but there was a reasonable level on traffic, hence NO BEANS WERE GIVEN by either it, or the Evora.
He/She did however HAMMER ME TO DUST as we entered a 20-limit, and they carried on at around 40.

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Spotted parked on the road with a half cover over it - what appeared to be a classic Ferrari:
However I have checked the registration and it is a 2020 Mirage GT (not a Gemballa) with a 3.5 engine. And then I found this very car for sale: https://www.carandclassic.com/car/C1533436
Some odd wording in the advert - engine from an Alpina 635CSI or an M6? Single overhead cam? Some references to correct steering wheel and matching knurling to the original ashtray (original ashtray? From what, an E24 6-series? )
Anyway, it did look quite nice in the flesh - I didn't immediately think 'kit' anyway. Not sure £76k is the right figure for it though.
