@V8Granite It was the aural highlight for a rather younger mik on the Fast Lane cassette too.

Confusingly, Harry reckons it was a rival to the Ferrari Boxster. #nitpickingwonker

There was a video of his on an airfield driving away from camera which is one of the nicest exhaust sounds I’ve ever heard, stunning car.

I am sure I ripped that cassette to MP3 years ago - I definitely did with the first one. Not sure where it is now; probably on an old USB drive which will be hard to find. I bet there's a decent quality copy available online somewhere. Not intending to rip it again - I'd probably have to replace the belt in my cassette deck for a start.

It was the F40 on the first Fast Lane cover tape which really grabbed me back then.

Hmm, might be harder to find online than I thought - Googling takes me to this PH thread. Scroll to the bottom and it seems it was Mike and my rips which were floating around back then, but no links. Darn.

It's certainly up there, but I think we'd need a vote to substantiate that claim ;)

@JonathanE 's Countach is up there too...

I'm only now getting round to watching the Vantage video. In addition to the Ferraru Boxster (helpfully confirmed by the captions) Harry refers to the De Dinion suspension. We shouldn't make fun; it's quite an endearing trait.

What was up with Harry’s voice in the 2nd half of the Testarossa video? Sounded like he was on helium!

Also - Harry confirms that this SM is on the special Magnesium wheels.

Ha yes I noticed that. I believe he'd accidentally done that in one of his prior videos too. I presume all the audio of the Testarossa had been moved up half an octave as well

Road trip in Huggies to DinnyLand - where the engine (at least) works. Nice to see/hear it getting exercised.

Inspired by the jaaaag, what’s the cheapest v12 manual you could buy today?

Ropey xjs’ seem to have all vanished but I guess you could get lucky if you were hunting one out.

Manual v12 db7 for £20kish maybe?

Tbh I’d probably stick a bmw v12 in something or maybe manual swap a 750i for substantially less.
Cheers, Harry

At the point linked below - with the whine - it sounds not dissimilar to a 'charged Merlin/Griffon 8-)
