This guy seems nice.
Yeah, he's already known to be a bell.

As for your previous posts addressed to me: you're not on Twitter now ;) I'm not judging anything; the social media person will not have made something up, so they only shared online some basic details of what happened and referred solely to speed. So I'm not assuming anything. I am criticising both the stop, even though it was legal, based on the statement that it was due to their speed and I am criticising the fact that it was tweeted at all.

I also added some links to the law rather than making assumptions about it.

I was actually replying to RichbShortz but you got in between us.

A clear example of profiling - here we have a group of middle aged men in Lycra doing nothing illegal, being needlessly harassed by the police.

I tell you what, getting the lycra on and putting a nail through my testicles to go for a cycle is starting to become a bit of a burden these days.

Only if the lycra was especially tight, then they might have been stopped for outraging public decency ;)

Great bants, Broccers.

If the police had tweeted that they'd stopped a bunch of cyclists who weren't wearing helmets, would that have got people frothing in a similar way?

I still don't understand why you think speeding is ok on a bike? Why?

prolly because typing "speeding" is quicker than "riding at a speed which is unsuitable for the conditions and/or type of road" and handily provokes further ill-will among keyboard specialists.

It surely would be easier to call Jobbo a cunt. But here we are looking at grown men coming out with utter horse shit.

I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to say here, but it's not against the law to ride a bicycle at 39mph in a 30 limit. So why is it 'wrong' in your eyes?
