New Diesel Mustang
Re: New Diesel Mustang
I clicked on the link expecting to hate it. I really don’t - it looks great. Diesel is obviously racecar now (yeah, my Audi has a direct link to the Le Mans winners, honest ).
Re: New Diesel Mustang
Why call it “GTD” and stick in a petrol engine? Bloody yanks
Re: New Diesel Mustang
Oh, it’s not actually a diesel? I just had a quick skim of the article and didn’t notice anywhere that said if was gas or diesel
Re: New Diesel Mustang
From a different article:
The Mustang GTD gets its name from IMSA's GTD (Grand Touring Daytona) racing class, within which full-on GT3 race cars compete
That’s something European publishers will be putting in every article, guess Americans don’t have the same nomenclature for diesels as we do
Re: New Diesel Mustang
Rear wing is horrible.
Pumped arches are awesume (despite a bit too much venting on the fronts)
Wheels are too fussy but fill the arches nicely. SSSNM.
Approved.
(Even though it uses the 5.2 which I assume is still a flat-plane crank. A muscle car without a muscle car sound track is a bit of a shame).

325 section front tyres!
Pic 10 looks like it’s so heavy it broke its suspension, (or it doesn’t have any!)
