How's things in Korea for your daughter at the Jamboree? Sounds a bit crazy over there.

She is fine, she messaged yesterday to say "don't believe the media, it is awesome, just sweaty".

Sounds like the heat wave has caused problems you just cannot solve under crowded campsite conditions. We got am email from Scouting UK explaining their reasons (safety) and asking us not to speak to the media.

I am slightly gutted for them all as I think a few other nations are pulling the plug as well, so could even end early. I think the UK had contingency plans whereby, if weather etc caused problems they would relocate to schools or colleges for sleeping and centre activities around Seoul, so as things stand he is due back on the 13th, as originally planned.

Thanks for asking.
