Re: The ebay thread
@simon_g I love that that has only one seat.
Re: The ebay thread
Where else would the chemical toilet go (or would you not have one and just dig your own hole?)?
The seller's name
The roof box converted to an elevating roof is a nice idea.
I wonder if you can fit Carver tech under one?

Re: The ebay thread
At least you'd only need to carry one levelling ramp.

Ford freaks are weird. >£1800 for a car that'll end up with a chassis like the ship of theseus/triggers broom once all the welding has been done.
Rotten shed clicky
Panels
Sills
...and Why yes, that is the ground you can see right next to the suspension turret.
And that's before even starting on the biohazard that is the interior, never mind an engine that'll likely need a full rebuild.

Re: The ebay thread
I can see that for a Mk2 Escort or a Cossie, but for an XR2? Are they that desirable now?

Re: The ebay thread
So I take it XR2s are now at the same point as Mk1 & 2 Escorts, that the value is entirely in obtaining a clean V5, to <ahem> "reshell" it using a good condition stolen one ?

Re: The ebay thread
It's the RS turbos that are making big money now but I'd imagine XRs aren't far behind.
What Rich posted is probably what's going to happen.

Even if it was mintier than a bottle of creme de menthe in a field of mint surrounded by toothpaste I still can't see why it would be an exciting car.
