How could I?
Ukraine
Re: Ukraine
The Russians tried that in ww2 as an anti tank weapon. However as they trained them to target tanks using their own vehicles they dogs had a tendency to blow up Russian tanks instead of German ones……

Re: Ukraine
I don't suppose anyone is surprised. They won't be on the front line alongside Ukrainian troops, but they'll be very involved in planning & training.
Also - there's a neat competition to land a drone in Red Square on 9th May:

Re: Ukraine
It's quite remarkable that some 21 year old no-mark has access to information that confirms the number of allied special forces operating in Ukraine.
Somehow I suspect they're probably involved in training rather than combat, purely because of the embarrassment in the event of capture.

Re: Ukraine
If they were involved in combat and captured alive, it'd be a massive propaganda win for RU - so having them anywhere near combat zones would be political suicide. Training and logistics in country, but out of danger would be most likely, and they've probably been doing that for yonks anyway.
In the meantime, apparently T54/55s are in the combat zone. Probably being used as mobile pillboxes, but given that RU was fielding far more modern gear just a year ago, even as mobile pillboxes, that's a damning indictment of the state of their resources.

Darth Putin never fails to deliver.
Re: Ukraine
Russia has the best air defences, so good that 'ukrainian drones' got all the way to the Kremlin

8/10 false flag, would agitate the populace in the run up to a patriotic event again.

Re: Ukraine
Saw earlier that there have been multiple explosions at oil temrinals in Crimea. Certainly seems on course for something within the next week.
I also saw that at the last UN Council meeting China and India voted in favour of a United Nations resolution that explicitly acknowledges "the aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine."

Re: Ukraine
Very odd, surely a better false flag atrocity would be for it to miss the Kremlin and hit nearby St Basil's or Lenin's tomb or the shopping mall across the square.Beany wrote: ↑Wed May 03, 2023 1:52 pm Russia has the best air defences, so good that 'ukrainian drones' got all the way to the Kremlin

Not quite sure what to make of it other than apply Hanlon's razor.

Re: Ukraine
Putin would certainly have no qualms about doing a false flag but a false flag that says the Kremlin is defenceless ? That's not a good message to put out. And their claim it was an assassination attempt is utterly ludicrous, unless he habitually sleeps on the roof
I keep coming back to this:
It could be anyone, launched from anywhere, and explains the claims it was only a pyrotechnic charge - that it was not an attack, it was a demonstration by someone so keen, so confident, that they couldn't wait until the 9th. I'm SO looking forward to the 9th.

Re: Ukraine
Forgot to say - shopping mall would make *way* more sense, to paint it as a terrorist attack against civilians. Hitting the Kremlin, I bet quite a few Russians are quietly pleased about it.

Lol, internal anti-Putin Russian separatists are liberating Russian territory from the Kremlin, apparently.
