Mik, I was planning to buy a few 08 plates: SJ08SON etc back in 2007. I was waiting to replace my then-wife's car in order to have one new enough to put a plate on. As it turned out, we bought a 57 plate and then got divorced so it was the last thing on my mind. I reckon I can be more organised by 2040.

V60 sold today, for exactly what I paid for it three years ago.

Great car, will be missed as a great all round family car, tip run car, holiday car the dog could be sick in and no one cared, general comfy all round brilliant car.

All time average of 50.2 MPG, only cost me the price of a boost pressure sensor, Polestar optimisation, cost of oil and filters etcs and 4 tyres.

Can't argue with that tbh.

My temporary car turned up whilst I wait for the Kuga to be built, I hope Ford can build cars fast

Audi A3 Technic 35 TFSI Sportback.

I don't know why people buy these cars, it looks smart enough, but is weirdly specced, but it's a totally joyless car to drive, it's not big inside, the clutch feel is awful, the gearshift is awful, the ride is awful, it has a lot of mechanical grip, and handles ok, but is slow and not particularly economical.

Sound system is awful, the seats are ok, it hasn't got climate control, but has every safety system known to man, adaptive cruise, self steering on motorways, cross traffic assist whatever that is,, LED headlights, full digital cockpit, the list goes on.

At least the Jag is staying to make up for it!

Been tidying the cars a bit, firstly I finally got round to replacing the door handle trim on the Mito, was surprised to find that the part has actually been updated so the trim is now one part with the backing so it will no longer fall off

Then I adjusted the handbrake cable as it barely passed its last MOT. My magnet on a stick tool proving to be a lifesaver again
Image

Defender rear bumper/xmember was getting a bit crusty so I sprayed it with bed liner - needs another coat in 24 hours but I’m annoyed as it’s not really bed liner but more like slightly textured matt black

Never got round to changing brakes on it, found out it needs a 220nm torque wrench to torque up the hubs and mine doesn’t go that high. Will just change the pads for now.
How about not having a sig at all?

I asked the dealer about the door handle cap a couple of months ago and they said I had to buy a door handle!

Where did you get the cap from assuming it's the outer door handle trim for the Mito?
