I meant 5 years since the changeover, not sure when I joined the original forum
It wasn't a dig, just adding to the numbers game is all. 😎

Christ, being on a forum for over twenty years.

That rather puts things in perspective...

After my school friends, you guys are my second oldest group of friends who I'm in contact with  . I joined the forum at uni around 2001.

2005 here - I had a Merc C350 Sports Coupe at the time. Loved that car

I had been a member of the Global Underground form for years before then but it has closed suddenly and was looking for somewhere to talk shit on t'Internet. I had been reading the mag for a while (and lived in the next village over from Evo Towers so often used to see the Journo's coming and going in exotica)

You introduced me to the forum, but you were on here long before me. I can't even remember exactly when I joined. 2004, 2005 ish maybe.

I have no idea when I joined - some time between 2001-2004 I'd guess, based on where I was working (hah!) at the time. It was on the flashing red envelopes platform I know that.

Probably around 2000. I did a track day at Brands in my 306 in the pissing rain with @tim and others (Jason, Amanda, Jon H, Tom O?), so joined the forum before that. I think we got a bit too drunk wherever it was we were staying the night before (Tunbridge Wells perhaps)

I'm a newbie, I only joined in around 2007. Username unchanged since then, and avatar unchanged for as long as I can remember!

Consistency is key. 8-)

Early noughties for me IIRC under a different name. Mad to think it's been so long!

Thanks to Matty for keeping it going.

I won the speed camera detector just after they stopped doing the watch for the best thread.

I won it for my 'old cars are shit' thread which would've no doubt garnered some comments in the next month's mag.

I put it straight onto ebay without even taking it out the box.

Oh, and 1999 maybe for me? One of the first when it was wwwthreads, then snitz. I lived closed to 'Dave' who ran B&Q Reading (Dave lived in Epsom) (can't remember his username) and I spent a couple of evenings with him in the pub way back then.

You used to live in Epsom ? My wife grew up there, just down from the racecourse.
