Vibration through the cabin - ruins the ride. Juddering constantly.

they have so far - Rebalanced the wheels, Cleaned up the hub facing on the wheels to remove the over spray from refurb, Changed the rear sway arms and camber arms, Replaced the transfer box oil, did a full GEO and alignment, Checked the prop shaft weights for balance - still there.

Still the same.

When i spoke to the Master Tech last week his next plan was to remove the prop shaft and the drive shafts to check for wear on the bearings. I dont think its that however as its just the same when the box is free-wheeling.

However...I can track the car on the BMW app and its no moved from the same parking space in over a week. So from what i can tel they are doing fuck all with it.

This is the 5th time it's been back to them for this. Ive told them fix it this time or i want a refund. Been going on since before November. I think ive been accommodating enough.

Blimey. Have they tried a different set of wheels on it?

Yes - Forgot to add that. Same issue so it's not the wheels.

The Bentley. I felt like people were sick of it already so I deliberately didn't say BENTLEY.

Bentley Bentley Bentley Bentley Bentley.

:)

Wifey did a run down to Eastleigh in it today to visit her cousin, OBC reported 19mpg for the round trip. Published Extra Urban is 22mpg. Sounds close but 3mpg is a big % at that level. I'll see what I get when I drive it properly.

Our Kona has been at Hyundai since Thursday and I've tried the same but as it's not connecting to the location, that means the 12v battery is still flat and they haven't moved it.

Going away on Thursday and have the 320 tourer on hire, provided by them, and I doubt it will be sorted tomorrow. I really don't mind when they're paying for fuel as well though so the silence is welcome this time.

Warped brake discs? Brake discs not sitting flat on the hub? Try a run-out gauge on the disc face to see if it's in true.

Wonder if they’ve checked all the chassis measure points, could possibly have had an unrecorded accident and knocked something out of true

It still happens when the transmission is free-wheeling in eco mode.

Have you been able to discern any pattern for what triggers/stops it?

Seems to get worse if you are driving on a constant radius turn.

Without wanting to state the obvious, but I assume your MAF has been polished to a high sheen, right?

Which takes me back to a burnt/slipping clutch, but this time in the transfer box.

Polished to such a high sheen that you can actually see the souls of the dead in it.

They have looked at the transfer box and changed the oil. Which was apparently filthy...so i wouldn't rule that out.

The X drive system has a crap load of clutches for transferring torque to the different axles doesn’t it?
How about not having a sig at all?
