Randomness
Re: Randomness
I think your cultural references differ from mine. I was thinking more Indiana Jones though it's not actually like that or the Jurassic Park one. More Mick Dundee.

Re: Randomness
Fucking hell... even people tagging others to come and "have a word" about road safety etc. WTAF?!
Cheers,
Mike.

Re: Randomness
What he did was pretty stupid with entirely predictable results though. You’re on a toxic social media platform where everyone is just waiting for an excuse to get mad about something…
How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Randomness
Do you not think that after about the 3rd or 4th "Care to watch the video where I explain this is a private farm road owned by the farm where my office is located?", that he knew exactly what he was doing and that most subsequent posts from "Angry from Milton Keynes" are car guys playing along ??

His argument that it’s a private road would only work if there’s no public access to it otherwise you’d be able to use a phone whilst driving in most industrial estates/supermarkets/new housing developments/shopping centres/M6 Toll etc etc

He's a twat, that Minchew bloke.

I don't like it. Ok, he's not running over baby seals but it's amateurish and getting a bit too close to Hoovie who desperately need a camera mount inside his cars. It also gets my anxiety going and my teeth itch.

Re: Randomness
That's half true. You can drive up and down your own drive on the phone even if the postman or visitors occasionally walk up there. There's a world of difference (legally) between somewhere intended to be used by the public, such as a supermarket car park, and a private house or office with grounds.Mito Man wrote: Tue Mar 21, 2023 5:38 pm His argument that it’s a private road would only work if there’s no public access to it otherwise you’d be able to use a phone whilst driving in most industrial estates/supermarkets/new housing developments/shopping centres/M6 Toll etc etc

Yes, but to be clear for those that are unaware, Jonny’s warehouse is located on a busy farm which hires trailers, has an equestrian centre, gun store, shooting range and wedding venue amongst other things.Jobbo wrote: Wed Mar 22, 2023 9:11 amThat's half true. Re: Randomness
I don't really have much of a view on his actual camerawork, but is he new to the internet or something? Surely he would have had some idea of what the comments would be as soon as he started waving the camera round the car?
He doesn't come across as dumb, but I don't think he's thick skinned enough to come up with the idea as an intentional comment booster.

Re: Randomness
Now I have to admit that I neither play, nor watch Criquet. But I am fairly sure this isn’t the right technique.
Re: Randomness
He describes it as his office rather than a warehouse. I don't know if those are the same thing, nor where they are.
