Paramount+ on Sky

Post by dinny_g »

Anyone having issues with the Paramount + app on Sky??

Randomly causing the SkyQ box to disconnect from the router.

Very frustrating

I don’t have any issues with this.

Mainly ‘cos I don’t have SKY any more.

Thanks Scotta...

Must be an issue with out Sky Q box. Looks like I'm going to have to try to get a replacement. Issue only impacts Paramount+. Netflix, Prime, AppleTV etc are all fine

How good is that? I'm nearly at the end of S1.

I really enjoyed season 1 but can't for the life of me remember what happened! I've started to store up S2 to watch, so I guess I need to watch the last episode or two again.
Cheers,

Mike.

On Wednesday I phoned Sky, got through to an expert in about 2 mins who actually knew what he was talking about.

Streamed for 10 mins so he could gather info. He then talked me through a handful of config changes, streamed for another 10 mins and all was sorted.

Very surprised and very happy…

We’ll I was until later on when it became apparent he hadn’t fixed a thing.

So I found the Paramount +App on the LG hub and now watching directly on the TV

Which I what I should have done in the first place

Most of the apps on the Sky Q box are dog shit. It's not a particularly stable platform. Native apps on your TV/Console are nearly always a better bet.
If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.

I've just finished Tulsa King, it's worth a watch if you haven't already.

Not found much else on there though so far to watch.
