Not quite sausages, the local butcher had some good looking pork knuckles in this morning which I couldn't resist, so going to cook them in beer and honey for some fatty, tasty Polish golonka tonight. Perfect cold weather food.

People keep telling me about Polish pork knuckles, despite my missus of 11 years being Polish I've never tried it. :| Need to correct that.

You need to apply some gentle pressure, e.g. ordering some of these https://www.sherwoodfoods.co.uk/shop/po ... ork-hocks/ and not telling her until they arrive

Seriuosly, they are perfect cold weather food, served with a strong beer.

I’m partial to Salsiccia sausage but I haven’t had it here. Only in Italy

Made some pigs in blankets this morning but left them in a few mins too long.

Also bought some currywurst in Morrisons as they sounds nice. 👍

The wife was looking last night for curry ketchup - Pataks used to make an incredible one years ago but for some reason they stopped. Anyway, she found this amazing website which we spent an age then poring over!

The Heck meat free ones are really nice as well, and somewhat overlooked I think.
