Apologies if I've missed it, which interior have you gone for? I could see either of the ones shown in the last couple of "but I keep looking at this colour" pics working :)

That colour always makes me think of the E46, Laguna Seca isn't it? I'm sure I've read BMW won't allow you to spec that on the current M3/M4, maybe they have a limited-run planned in it at some point. Does that count as a Jobbo interior given how BLUE the interior is?

Its weird when you become obsessive with these things as you learn there's different options in different markets, which I knew was a thing, but seems weird with an M3.

For example, you can get brown leather in Europe, called Trafuto.

That looks like HarryM's Emira interior leather. Nice, but I wouldn't order it.

I've gone for the red leather interior which I thought would go well with the dark blue.

Black would be very dark... and that really just leaves orange which would be very staunch, but a bit lary... or the black and grey which I think would just get grubby.

Of course there's also a brighter blue, but not the very lary blue.

Honestly... stop me. I'm dreaming about car colours at the moment.

That's exactly what I thought when I watched his video yesterday.

Other option I keep coming back to is a dark blue or purple.

Then I found this list of current invidicual colours on actual customer cars and I'm starting to feel like Jack Nicholson in The Shining. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. But with pictures of cars.

It might help you decide which colours you definitely don't want at least. Hopefully.

Love the description of the orange interior as staunch .

Does it come with an album of tin whistle anthems?

It’s good, but I’m not sure it’s worth the premium over Aventurine or Tanzanite.

Order has been updated and that's it done. It's down for build week 8 next year, with delivery to the dealer anywhere between 3 - 8 weeks after that depending who you speak to.

OTR price is going up by just over 2K for next year, so if your order hasn't been accepted by the factory by the end of the year, that comes in to effect along with the increased APR on the finance.

Have got the car booked-in for a "track pack" PPF and ceramic coating at a local place which I'll do as soon as it arrives.

Nobody seems to know what the UK allocation is or how many BMW are planning to make. My dealer seems to have quite a few next year, but some still seem to be waiting to have their allocation confirmed.
Cheers,

Mike.

8-) Exciting! I imagine it's so much fun to spec a new car like that.

Yes, it was fun but also a wee bit mind-scrambling. Have never done it before and suspect I'll never do it again, so was good. It was also a good idea to pop to the dealer again as they had the alloys, colour and bucket seats available to see/sit-in on the cars they had in the showroom.
Cheers,

Mike.
