But I'm not turning free shit down - I'd lose my Northern Passport.
Same. I tried an old smartwatch a few years ago and wasn't impressed, but apparently they're better now?

Who knows.
If you weren't impressed a few years ago you won't be impressed now because they're really no different bar having a few more sensors and more gimmicky additions.
How about not having a sig at all?

Heartrate sensor might be interesting/scary to use  old watch didn't have any of that stuff, that's how old it was.

I find mine useful as I work in an environment where my phone has to be on silent but I can still receive and read notification on my watch.

Oof, that is a bit cringe isn't it.

Also, remember, I'm 40 and I'm technically a millennial.

Ha, fair enough. Cringe is right, though.

Honestly I don't get the difference between a £200 phone to a £600. My A53 5G much better than work-issued iPhone 13.

I tend to agree, but the P7 Pro was a present to myself, and the only 'big ticket' thing I intend to buy for a while.

Otherwise I'd have picked up a used P6 Pro.

The camera is pretty fucking impressive though.

The Pixel 6a is on offer at £299 which seems a bit of a bargain in a world of £800+ phones !

Yodel - email saying its coming at anytime today but you can choose options if youre not in. As Yodel are meant to be shit I was quite impressed - you even get the guys name and mobile to contact them. Thats progress.
