Why was he taking Boris Johnson to court? Surely this was either Jolyon Maugham (https://goodlawproject.org/update/cross ... arliament/) or somebody a bit odd (https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/sue-bor ... negligence)
It was Marcus Ball https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ball_v_Johnson
I think he falls into the second category then
I'd say he falls between the two. He had a legal team working on it, they did a huge amount of work and raised £700k in crowdfunding and definitely rattled some cages, not to mention making it onto the news around the world.

Yes, but they ultimately lost and he was described by the judge as a vexatious litigant.

I've told you about 6 times before, but I'll happily tell you again.

Proof of work blockchains are a disgusting waste of resources based on nothing other than greed and I hope everyone involved with them loses all their money.

I enjoy seeing them fail as it helps put others off investing money in these disgusting scams.

that's why I care.
Bang on. and  at the maths
I didnt pay much attention to his post, as usual, but he is correct!

If anyone bought ETH on the 26th on the basis of Broccers' recommendation, they'd be almost 20% down right now  You really are the kiss of death !

"Don't believe anything until Broccers denies it"

(FTSE100 up about 3% in the same period)
Now I am actually paying attention - since that post it went up 7.5 per cent before falling to here. There seems to be some thinking here that you buy and hodl for ever. It's possible to sell if you choose. That 7.5 percent is more than you would get it sat in the bank.

I'm all for taking the Mick but to do it only when things drop is so tedious.

How much have you made on ETH since then ? Did you HODL

It'll be a lot less tedious for all concerned when you tell us how much you've made or lost. Dave! did and it opened up some interesting discussions.

For instance when the whole crypto world was falling and in a panic death spiral if you'd bought 1 Eth last night at 950 quid it is now worth 1052. Irrelevant my own purchasing as its not important to the discussion. My point is you can buy and make money, hold or just take a small (11 percent) profit in a few hours.

You know what’s really tedious ? You parroting investment “advice” from whatever crypto echo chamber you frequent, and then offering retrospective proof that you *could have* made money if you’d bought/sold at very specific points. It doesn’t work like that.

I’ll humour you one last time - next time you recommend buying, follow it up at some point when it’s the right time to sell. ETH has dropped 75% since your post a year ago that I quoted above so you’re not off to a good start here.

He’s lost almost all of it, and a fair chunk was funded with a covid bounce back loan.

Briccers - if you don’t want to share any numbers, just make some up. Nobody will know any better.

if it's that easy, are you putting your money where your mouth is? Are you actually buying and selling at the right time for profit like you're telling others to do?

I suspect it's more burying your head in the sand watching the value of what you've bought plummet whilst declaring "it's not lost until you sell!"

You can prove us wrong easily enough.
