Been to Elvington Airfield near York today for one of those supercar experiences I got for Christmas. Paid to upgrade to an Atom and Gallardo LP-560.
Atom was absolutely ballastic and loved how raw it was. Went into the Gallardo second but think it was a fairly tired example - lots of creaks and rattles and the bodywork was a bit battered but still made an epic noise right behind my left ear.
Both instructors were pretty good with letting me loose, especially the first one in the Atom before it started chucking it down for an hour.
Not done anything like this before but still buzzing about it. Only two fairly short laps in each so would have liked to have kept going to be a bit more used to how they drove so I'd like to see if there's anything else where you get a bit more time.
