I saw Prodigy around that time in York and they were rubbish. IIRC they were supported by N-Joi who were superb.Gavster wrote: Sat Aug 13, 2022 12:51 pmIt’s not always better to see someone before they’re huge, I saw Prodigy twice, once in 1996 at a small festival and again in ~2009 and the second gig was way better than the first.ZedLeg wrote: Sat Aug 13, 2022 12:48 pm I’m glad I was able to see the foos before they got really huge.
Twice at the barrowlands and twice at the secc. Last time at the secc was seated tickets but me and my mate jumped the barrier![]()

The 1996 prodigy? (It might have been ‘95 actually) It’s weird because they’d had some real success with Jilted and we’re on the cusp of major hits with Firestarter. Maybe they were on the transition out of the race scene which was purely about the music, but hasn’t solidified a proper stage show beyond Keith and Maxim throwing shapes on stage.

I saw the prodigy in around 1996/97- pretty sure it was around fat of the land coming out. Superb.

I saw them in 2009. Amazing show, full of energy.

I saw them in 93 or 94 touring The Experience. And again in 95/96 I think touring jilted. They were fvcking awesome both times. But the first one was better because it was more like a rave night. And their earlier stuff was better - when Keith, Leroy and Maxim were just dancers.
