Goodwood 2022
Re: Goodwood 2022
They have a livestream on Youtube, just search Goodwood.
How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Goodwood 2022
It’s always annoying that cars look slow at Goodwoof.
I know they aren’t actually slow, and I am sure that from the inside it’s a real buzz…. but somehow this kinda fails to translate to the exterior cameras. Has always confused me. I guess it’s far more a “be there” event.

M4 csl is quick isnt it - similar to gtrs mant
Re: Goodwood 2022
Adam Smalley in gt3 cup - great drive
Re: Goodwood 2022
That McMurtry is pure awesome, sounds like a fighter jet and looks like it’s breaking the sound barrier as the fan blows the dust through it. I wonder if it has a big enough battery so that they can start smashing lap records at actual tracks.

Re: Goodwood 2022
All the electric runs are boring af except that little grey thing which looks like a mental coffin on wheels.
Like watching proper cars with the sound turned off.
I’m afraid they’ll have to be something absurd like a real life wipeout spaceship to be interesting.

Yes I agree - that one that broke down was second most entertaining
Re: Goodwood 2022
The McMurtry looks absolutely mental, but those other ones? Just can't get excited about them at all.
Cheers,
Mike.

Evidence to the contrary. The March looks great. The McMurty is rondinculous.mik wrote: ↑Sun Jun 26, 2022 10:55 am It’s always annoying that cars look slow at Goodwoof.

The Monaco GP needs to be replaced with the F1 drivers in 20 of those McMurtries. It’s about the size of a Kei car!

The Smith and Sniff videos they did on the Goodwood channel are my favourites and made me laugh.

Plenty of silly stories on the podcast this morning, too.
Re: Goodwood 2022
Star of the show for me was very much that McMurtry
Hearing the fan winding up while it was on the starting line and then the way it went up the hill
I'm sure the commentary said that the fan generated two tonnes (!!) of downforce when the car was stationary?!
An incredible piece of engineering - and an incredible driver too!
