Paint stripper?
Paint stripper?
Can anyone recommend a good one? Trying to strip a radiator and the Bartoline one I bought isn't making a dent. Always found Nitromors to be crap too.

Drain it and burn the paint off with a blowtorch

Re: Paint stripper?
Local powder coaters and get them dipped/blasted ?
Re: Paint stripper?
Removing it will be a last resort, it’s 50 years old and 3 metres long.
Re: Paint stripper?
Lol I'd assumed it was off for refinishing !
Re: Paint stripper?
No, I don’t want to take it off in case it gets damaged as nowhere keeps radiators that long anymore.
Re: Paint stripper?
Stelrad make 3000mm radiators in 300, 450, 600 and 700mm heights. Give your local plumbing merchants a ring and they’ll be able to source them
Re: Paint stripper?
Websites don’t want the chew of handling something that big, only the merchants tend to deal with them

@Zonda_ There’s so many ranges that’s the problem. Being in the trade I tend to ignore the glitzy websites (90% of this type of site are useless) and go straight for the downloadable brochures. Try this

You’ll see 3000 in the elite (standard rad, no grills), compact (same standard rad but with grills) and the concord plane (fancy rad muchos dollar)
