Today’s want
Re: Today’s want
For the same money as the Alpine, you could buy a better specced (half price M5 cs) 550 with a v8, or even the outgoing 7 with the same engine.

Interesting proposition. It’s averaged 317miles PA but that’s all track work. So around 74laps of Spa (as an example) per year….IanF wrote: ↑Tue May 24, 2022 11:40 am SJ may be interested aswell..

From the replies;
The targa roof was the same type used on 991s/992s, and, yes, the Concept had a double arse.

The fact it’s kept in a $10m “garage” does suggest it has been well maintained.mik wrote: ↑Tue May 24, 2022 11:52 amInteresting proposition. It’s averaged 317miles PA but that’s all track work. Re: Today’s want
Perhaps the previous owner should consider fitting a dehumidifier in their $10 million garage.
How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Today’s want
The hardware on the steering wheel seems a bit rusty. Perhaps it’s just from bodily fluids.

Proper Jaaaaag with V12 goodness and plenty of space in the back for oil paintings that have been borrowed. Lovely interior to impress the ladies you pick up after whafting past the wine bars of Cheltenham.

Sundayjumper spec Alpina D3. I know it's only a warm 320d but it looks nice.

I don't know why but the E90's little moustache is way more noticeable to me now than it ever was when they were being built.
An absolute unit

I was so close to one of these about 15 years ago, but ended up with a good deal on a 530d lci. The D3 has aged very well imho.Sundayjumper wrote: ↑Fri May 27, 2022 12:36 pm Sundayjumper spec Alpina D3. I know it's only a warm 320d but it looks nice.

Re: Today’s want
I thought you had a 7 and hated it and bought the Z4 because you wanted something sporty ?
Re: Today’s want
Your right, there were a lot of things I liked about the 7 but it was a diesel, ive never owned a v8...yet.Sundayjumper wrote: ↑Fri May 27, 2022 2:48 pm I thought you had a 7 and hated it and bought the Z4 because you wanted something sporty ?
Also, my son is about to change his wheel chair for a larger model which won't fit into the z4 boot. We have a senile family bus, but we enjoy our road trips, so Im looking for something with at least 2 seats, decent size (at least 400 litres) boot. I looked at the 240i but too similar to the Z, Id love an S class coupe or even a Bentley GT but there doesn't seem any value in the 2nd hand market, although this could change with the way the things are going.
