Vesa mounts

Post by Gavster »

I've got a Dell Ultrathin monitor which is a nice screen, nothing to dislike about it. Until now.

For some reason, it doesn't have a vesa mount and I wanted to get some arms to hold my monitor and laptop off my desktop.

Thank god for cable ties

Are you sure it doesn't have one? Some monitors hide theirs behind a panel you have to unclip and then you need to pull tiny rubber plugs out of the Vesa mount screw holes.
If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.

Sadly not, Dell were obviously going after the iMac style clean design when they crated this monitor so it simply has a matt silver curved back, with a stand mounted in the centre of the screen and no Vesa mount like most.
