A fairly rare one this morning I'd imagine, outside the boy's school - a '71 plate Alpina XB7 - like this
Some stats 'cos I knew nothing about them other than it being a big fvck off ugly house on oversized wheels
£126k starting price without options and on 21" wheels - with the 23" Alpina wheels alone it's £140k
2.6tonnes
613hp
0-60 - 4.2s
395mm front discs (can stop from 60mph in 30m/2.8s )

Popped down to Autotorque in Bicester to pick up some parts - got some great stuff in the shop; matt grey Yaris GR looked good. Plenty of Evo's and GTR's knocking about too.
Also spotted - Ferrrari 360 Sypder with plate "Music GM" (MU51 CGM - but badly spaced). Did wonder if it was a z-lister, but other than other spots online, can't find much. I find the 360 has grown on me a little over time....

Veryon parked in the King Edward Court car park in Windsor.. I stress getting out of there so I half expected it to still be there a week later! Ballsy (or idiotic) driving..
Cheers,

The Spider has always been the best looking 360. The flat engine cover really improves it over the coupe.Matty wrote: ↑Sat Apr 30, 2022 3:31 pm Popped down to Autotorque in Bicester to pick up some parts - got some great stuff in the shop; matt grey Yaris GR looked good. Re: Teh Spotted Thread
every time my missus parks there, she comes back with a new kerbed wheel or scraped bumper. So much so, she doesn't park there any more!
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
It’s been a while since I saw a Senna. It still looks crap but not as crap as I remembered
The crazy long front overhang, the huge bodywork around the rear which makes it seem like the wheels are too small doesn’t help. The wheels are also really far inboard of the bodywork - I presume it’s to get maximum benefit from the splitter and skirt around it but it’s begging for some fat spacers.

How about not having a sig at all?

@Sundayjumper: tired looking faded red Galaxie 500 coupe parked not too far from me. If it is there when I get back I'll try getting a picture.

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Sadly it had moved. But, based on the shape I know where it "lives". Been wondering about the covered yank tank that's been parked there for a couple of years. Don't know the owner, but I regularly walk past and he's had several other interesting cars over the years.

Saw this last night - pretty horrific in terms of overall proportions, even though they'd gone to a lot of effort on the fake badging etc...
Number plate blanked so no one cheats on the "what car is it based on?" game.

Aye, I think most of those 250/275 kits are based on the Z3.

Front looks like some Japanese 60/70’s sports car where they went through their ‘copy the Europeans’ phase. Back looks like a bad cobra replica
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Is that the off-road version?

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
I’ve seen some which look pretty good in a sort of representation in the style of rather than trying to be a replica.
That one just seems to have got everything wrong!
