Petrol the new toilet roll
Re: Petrol the new toilet roll
My 4 are £587 so I’d guess if he isn’t over £1k I’d be amazed
Also, I bet he has a spreadsheet for that already.

Re: Petrol the new toilet roll
Good grief. That would be scary. The van took £130 yesterday from nearly-empty, that’s the only diesel vehicle I have now and petrol is a bit cheaper but the Scimitar & Galaxie both have pretty big tanks.
I think the answer could easily be the wrong side of £1k
Re: Petrol the new toilet roll
I was thinking a grand or more, yes. Hope you had them all filled before the current prices!
Re: Petrol the new toilet roll
Still big queues for fuel around here. I need to get 130 miles tomorrow night and none of my vehicles (even the broken one) has enough for that. I can't find anything in the mainstream media about this. I reckon after the hysteria of last time they've just ignored it.
Anyone know if the nutters have gone home yet?

Re: Petrol the new toilet roll
Filled up in Belgium today @ £1.52/litre for diesel. We are being shafted by our government.
Cheers.

Just filled up both cars at the nearest station, a Shell. Merc only took £22 but the Yeti took £60
They had both flavours of petrol but no diesel, and no queues at all.

I think the loonies are on rotation TBH. Government needs an injunction I think then throw the lentil munchers in the clink for a few months.

Re: Petrol the new toilet roll
The prices around here have dropped a bit compared the high point but are still well up compared to even a month ago. There don't seem to be any shortages of anything. A2 petrol fuel light came on at 297 miles, the tdi's at 497; that's ok for a 34l tank in the petrol but I'd rather the 42l one the derv has

Looks like the Jag is going to be £150 on the next fill up, then.

One of the garages in Newquay is charging the same price for petrol and diesel (187p) - I’ve never seen that before.Jimmy Choo wrote: ↑Sat Jun 04, 2022 12:41 amLooks like the Jag is going to be £150 on the next fill up, then.
Re: Petrol the new toilet roll
Local Indy garage told me the next refill they get will mean another 5p/L. They were already charging 179.9 for UL. Nearly £30 to fill the Fazer up now

£86 into the Yeti and it was probably about £8 off empty.
Left over crest; tightens.
Re: Petrol the new toilet roll
Unleaded and Diesel are both >180p at my local garage. I might leave the fuel light on a little longer
Re: Petrol the new toilet roll
€2.55 over here in Holland for diesel!

That's insane

I zoned out at the pump for a few moments and overshot my target price by £15

Even at the good old exchange rate when you could knock a third off that's
We've got 35+mph winds coming from that direction here atm, so I guess you're going out not coming back and they're just making things worse
