Local Asda out of diesel, unleaded still fine.

The Mrs doesn’t seem to be worrying as much this time so the Facebook fear mongering can’t be as bad.

Prices back on the rise. Normal unleaded at £1.639, diesel £1.769 at a local petrol station. That'll sting when I need to fill the Galaxy.

A full charge of the Zoe is about £15, so about £40 to match average full-tank range with the Galaxy. Ouch.

I saw £1.89 at the robbing motorway services - what happened to that investigation they were having over their prices?

They probably had it and decided they were reasonable.
Seeing this thread has made me think maybe I should have filled up today, rather than leaving it until tomorrow when the price will likely have gone up.

Diesel is £1.789 Today in Yeovil at the robbing Esso garage, £1.589 at Tesco (but empty) and £1.609 at the Co-op - creeping up and up this week and over £100 to brim my car last week so now would be easily £110 :(

The 928 can only run on E5 Super Unleaded. My local garage is currently selling this for £1.70 a litre. The 928 has 86 litre tank so a fill up will cost me £150.
If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.

The Scimitar’s tank is 21.3 gallons - that’s a sniff short of 97 litres

I feel sorry for my daugter and all the other kids that have just passed their tests. Used car prices at an all time high, fuel price at an all time high. Even her tiny Twingo tank costs £60.00 to fill now. Everything has gone to shit since Brexit. Covid. War. Fuel. Food. That's what I'm blaming, despite it clearly being nonsense.
Cheers.

And I had to go away and check the Galaxie. It’s 25 US gallons, about 95 litres. Which doesn’t seem all that much for the size & thirst of the thing.

Yup, it had; at my usual Shell it's gone from £1.499 to £1.599 for 95, £1.549 (or.569, I can't remember) to £1.699 for diesel, V-Power diesel at £1.749. Sainsbury is/was £1.509 for 95, £1.529 for diesel, so that's what it got (with a dose of Millers). The derv has a 42l tank with 8l left when the light comes on.

Funny that, price of oil is up a buck from Friday’s close but it’s up 10 pence per litre. Brent was down yesterday but the local station still increased prices by 5 pence.
Guess we’ll be laughing at them once they’re all broke as most people are driving EVs…

3p shy of £70 to fill my 45 up today. Still, I remember back in 2012 when I had that A8 putting £125 of fuel in it, so could be worse.
