No F1 thread?

Re: No F1 thread?
The Russian GP is off. Apparently 19 of the drivers said "fuck that!" Anyone want to guess which one didn't? It might have been the one whose Dad has been in meetings with Putin in the past couple of days.
In other news, the company I work for has got its name on the top of the nose of the Mercedes for the next 5 years. I'm hoping this leads to a jolly to a GP.

Certainly puts his seat in jeopardy. Without his dad's money to back him they'd be crazy not to swap him for someone that can actually drive and/or bring sponsor money.

Russian GP is not just off for this year either. The FIA has binned it for good!

And now we see the real car. And if it catches on the prettiest F1 grid in years will look like one of the ugliest!

Is that design made to put the sharp edge of the floor up against a wheel of a competitor who takes a "forceful" approach to being overtaken?

So who has got it right and who has got it wrong (and who is just average…)

Har de har…
But - this is going to get pretty tiring for the drivers - assuming their retina remain attached long enough.

Re: No F1 thread?
its one part of their whole aero package though - one team may have absolutely nailed this element, but if it doesn't work with the rest then they've got it wrong. Interesting that we can have such different looks from 3 top tier teams with the same overall goal.
