Like a bat out of hell he was gone.
RIP.
A friend was a fan at Uni and I admit to enjoying some of his stuff.
Meat Loaf
Re: Meat Loaf
Always loved Jim Steinman's stuff (well, not Celine Dion) and Meat Loaf was the pinnacle of Steinman's oeuvre. Also, Meat was brilliant in Fight Club. 74, which is too young but I don't think he was the healthiest. RIP to an amazing entertainer.
Re: Meat Loaf
I never “got” his music. I hate BOOH.
Regardless - RIP

Aw man, what a bummer.
We were just watching him in House last night. He was great in Fight Club and I liked some of his singles although never really got in to his albums.

Re: Meat Loaf
I was never a fan of his music, but he was a great performer and by all accounts a thoroughly nice guy who didn't take himself too seriously.
I also learned today that he was Scott Ian of Anthrax's father in law.

If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.

Wife wanted to go see bay out of hell-the musical, so booked that before Christmas- we’re off to see that next week, obviously it’ll have a different feeling about it now
