Today’s want
Re: Today’s want
I’d really like that if they put the engine in a 991.
How about not having a sig at all?

It has been mentioned a couple of times in Fast Fleet, expect there's a write-up coming in one of the coming issues. Could always email him?

Re: Today’s want
This is going back a few months, but since Renmure’s (Lister Bell) stratos appears to have been delivered - I thought I’d share it again. Lots of lust for this. Particularly when I see it parked beside his Ultima.

So, a fairly significant update for the end of the year.
Very generously the good folk at LB Specialist Cars delivered my car just after Christmas so I could have it for the New Year. Avoiding the drizzle today I've only been able to take some phone camera pics but....
Wow!! I'm biased but it looks Awesome. I've only tickled the throttle on the driveway and it sounds awesome and it even spits out flames when you start it which is even more awesome.
Good points: I shouldn't lose it in the carpark. If I can keep it pointing forwards at night I should be able see the road ahead. If I get bored driving it I can occupy my time by pressing lost of buttons on the dashboard and I don't don't think I'm going to miss having a radio.
Bad points: Both my hands and knees are dirty so I need to practice getting out a bit more elegantly before taking some decent pics. It's also a bit like the Ultima in that the rear arches are much wider than door mirrors so reversing it is a leap of faith. There's no visibility from the interior mirror but you do get a great view of the carbon airbox. I'm also either going to make up a crib-sheet for all the dash buttons or switches or go old-skool and use the sticky labels that were in the bag. :blackeye

My bad. My grasp of English must be poorer than I thought. I wasn't aware that you needed a full stop after an exclamation mark (among other things).Ascender wrote: ↑Sat Jan 08, 2022 7:16 pmBecause…“There is too much spec to list”, did you not even read the ad?!DeskJockey wrote: ↑Sat Jan 08, 2022 3:53 pm £76k and they couldn't spend ten minutes writing a decent description?

@speedingfine that’s lovely Chris
Astonishing performance for the money!
I have to assume that in the 850miles covered they have poo-pooed their pantaloons enough to want to sell?

Re: Today’s want
Probably. My FiL bought a Griffith 500 because it seemed like a good idea. After it was delivered he took it for a blast, shat his pantaloons and parked it in the garage until he sold it
Re: Today’s want
That’s brilliant
I was about to say the Ultima is in stunning condition but I’d totally missed the mileage which makes its condition totally unsurprising.
Cheers,
Mike.

Been looking at Lexi, Gs300 and is250's in particular. 300 seems to be the one to go for but not many about. Seems almost gvfm https://www.purpleskytrading.co.uk/used ... 2080327655
