What's the difference in servicing and repair prices around the country?
Getting the BMW serviced is fairly cheap around here (East London) as there's loads of competition for standard pricing on servicing, however if there's more work that needs doing, the labour costs will stack up very quickly. Because I'm renting the car out on Turo, I'd prefer to give the car to a trusted garage for servicing and get any extras done at the same time and I guess that might be a much cheaper process outside of the M25. I'm actively trying to take more breaks this year, so I'd happily take a long weekend anywhere in the country if it meant I would also save a few £££ on labour costs.
Does anyone have any experience of the price differences between London and, well, anywhere else (except Birmingham).
Regional servicing and repair prices in the UK
Re: Regional servicing and repair prices in the UK
I think it helps if your good mates in the pub run a small garage.
Recently got my roof fixed for a couple of pints, Idie price would be 100 plus.
Oil change just the amount of time it takes - they charge 45 an hour which is very reasonable I think.
Still got to use specialists for the important stamps tho.

~£30/hour for my local garage in South Norfolk, and they are very good. And busy!
