Totally agree about the Evoque convertibles. Shortly after they came out, (can cars 'come out'?), my missus saw one top-down near a local house having an extension built. At a distance she thought it was a builders skip and we both expected it to start filling up with building debris/fly tipping.

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Actually, I may have spoken too soon. Last year's MOT had an advisory for:
"Offside Front Integral body structure or chassis corroded within 30cm of a mounting, but not seriously affecting overall security (6.2.2 (d) (i))"
It's probably living on borrowed time.

Probably just the front jacking pad which isn’t a jacking pad. If they’re only starting to go rusty now it’s done well, most had them chopped off about 15 years ago
Cheers, Harry

A bronze Citroën SM It might be the first I've seen on the road, and just as likely the last.

This was a couple of weeks ago on the M1 in Leicestershire - an E24 M6
And the old boy driving was not hanging about either

That's no way to talk about my Mrs Zed
Tbf we were in the inside lane taking it easy (I HATE the M1 - by far the worst motorway in the country), and he had some dickhead in a Fiesta sat about 3ft off his boot, so she was struggling to get a decent picture. I think that's a zoomed in crop of what she took.
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
There was never an M6 back then.
Just the M635CSi.

So I thought also, but not entirely true. In the US and Japan it was badged as M6 and had the S38 engine as opposed to the M88. 30bhp down on the M88 engined M635 as ewll
Giving the old boy the benefit of the doubt, one assumes that the above is therefore a Jap import.
