It's a pretty big indictment of the new labour years that the deregulation of the gambling industry is barely a footnote in their list of shitty decisions.

Boris and his cronies could get an easy win by pushing through some regulation on advertising, video game gambling mechanics and fixed odds betting machines if they could stop arguing with each other about who fuked up the pandemic most.
