91KGs is superlight by modern bike standards, even 125cc commuters are nearer 135kg these days. So, it'll be a nice little urban commuter no doubt, but useless for anyone with more than 20miles each way as that'll never do 80 miles at any speed.Beany wrote: ↑Fri Jan 15, 2021 2:32 pm I'm sure it'll be at least £5k over here, but a simple, light-ish (that's light ish, by bike standards, innit?) reasonably pokey and reasonably well priced commuter bike is something that could open the market up a bit.
I've literally never seen an electric motorbike on the road. Ever.
IF I was still commuting I'd need min. 80 mile range at motorway speeds to give me peace of mind. Zeros offering barely do that, at £16/20k..

Re: Today’s want
Indeed, you can barely purchase electric mountain bikes for that money, this would be £10k by the time they get here. And still barely do 50 miles in real world.

That tyre to weight looks awful, once going at speed I’m
Surprised if you can turn the thing without leaning right off it.
Dave!

Been looking at Elise's again recently....and while this is a little outside of my budget, it's a seriously impressive piece of kit - guy on SELOC/MLOC used to own it and it was pretty much 'no expensive spared' ownership:

Too quick for me!
A tamer ‘Dan Webster’ road spec with 220 bhp n/a would do me just fine.

Re: Today’s want
Maybe 250bhp would be about perfect.
Re: Today’s want
Oooh.
I’d really want an MF5 but this is loverly, and RHD, and Manuel.

Re: Today’s want
Did they ever do one with the M3 V8? (Or the M5 V10?). I think I'd want a more interesting engine for that money.
