Oh dear, the wheels look shite as seems to be the case quite often with Lego models

Just to clarify in case people forgot, I'm 47yrs old.

Epic!

Land Rover Defender model just arrived today. As is obvious from the complexity, I've had to abandon the pretence to my wife that our 5 year old is going to do any of this (or that I'll let him play with it once its done given he is a more productive dismantler than assembler)

NFI when I'm going to get the time to do this given I managed Christmas Day and Boxing Day off work and that was it... :?

The Defender is possibly a bit much for a 5yo to manage alone yeah, but no harm in including them in the process if you can. I did a book//bag each night I think, to spread the "fun" out a little. I bought the Lambo over Xmas, so now I feel obliged to wait for the Bugatti to go on sale again so I can get that. Getting expensive this Lego malarky

Also, waiting on the Creator Expert Police Station (and freebie classic car) and the Bonsai tree, Fiat500 to arrive..

Lockdown has a lot to answer for.

Finished the defender - was quite hard work to be honest! I timed the fourth stage out of interest and it came to 2.5 hours so pretty much a ten hour set in total!

Think I may take a break from anything Lego related for err about a minimum of 6 months maybe

It seems Brexit has caught up with Lego, my delivery has been stuck at customs for four odd days now. The second order hasn't even left their warehouse yet, over a week later. :(

Yes, no word on my missing Defender parts hence me browsing things to be going on with. Does seem a bargain at that price.

The mini is brilliant, the Dakar I could take or leave but is still a decent thing. I never bothered with rest of the set, it’s still in its bags

Edit to add- if you’re new to speed champions and you’re only experience is the Quattro don’t expect these to be the same scale, the Quattro is a step bigger and better proportioned

Typical Argos - not available for delivery, not available to collect in any store. Clickbait price.

Same here, I have an order from Jan 1st that's still in warehouse, and one "in transit" which has been at customs for a week now.

Edit:
Transit order is delivering tomorrow, I found out tonight.
The previous order has been delayed - email to inform me of such tonight.

Corner Garage is back in stock, so like a mug I've ordered that as well..

I've had the Jan 31st email too.

I've got the '89 Batmobile, the wing is tempting but it's a huge model, you'll need big shelves
