I wouldn't celebrate too soon, we hadn't had any staff cases until last week.McSwede wrote: ↑Sun Jan 10, 2021 6:17 pmIt's for this very reason that our London office & factory have had a permanent face mask rule since this kicked off, along with one way systems, split shifts an extra canteen, temp checks, etc.... Thus far we have had no issues with anyone catching it at work. Also making sure the staff were aware that their money will always be paid regardless of how many time they might have to self isolate. That has stopped anyone bring it in from fear of not being paid.
It sounds even worse down South now. Spreading like wildfire! I'm in no hurry to go back for a while and am very glad I live in a nice rural area.

I'm with you (192cm).Sundayjumper wrote: ↑Sun Jan 10, 2021 6:19 pm193cmDeskJockey wrote: ↑Sun Jan 10, 2021 6:11 pmNot just in the supermarket though! Aircraft seats are never entirely comfortable.
But you can reach high shelves in the supermarket. It's not a brilliant trade off.

Haven’t found a car I don’t fit in yet!
How about not having a sig at all?

190.5cm. Legs are long though, that's what messes up getting comfortable in cars.

So, based on a sample size of five, I can conclude that OV9 forum members are significantly taller than the UK male average, with @dinny_g being the shortest right on the national male average.
This puts the forum average in the top third percentile for height in the country. Not bad! I'm sure nobody could think of anything problematic with my conclusion, so I'll just let that stand.

Stop ruining my conclusion with more data. That's not how science works!Swervin_Mervin wrote: ↑Sun Jan 10, 2021 10:58 pm 5' 11" whatever that is in cm (I just can't "get" height or weight in metric)

Re: Coronavirus
I had a medical last year. The nurse took my height and started writing it down.
“So how tall am I?”
“Between 5’11” and 6’”
“Well which one?”
“You’re in between”
“Can I say I’m 6’?”
“If you like”.

Re: Coronavirus
@Explosive Newt Symptom update for you to interpet:
Most of yesterday I've been really hot and feverish, but it's weird because I hadn't really been sweating, my skin was dry and hot. Then overnight in my sleep I suddenly sweated a lot. Now I actually feel a lot better, temperatures feel normal and I just have a few aches (like eye sockets, which have been sore throughout really). What's my body up to?
