My favourite colour on the Corrado. Want so much
Today’s want
Re: Today’s want
Oui, je suis un motard.
Re: Today’s want
Around three years ago there was a blackberry VR6 for sale at Northern Ireland, looked pretty mint in pictures and IIRC below average mileage. £7500.
Prices for good ones have crept up since.

Yeah ditto Ford / RS fanboys.Jobbo wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 9:21 am Not mad, really - VW fanboys are happy to pay lots of money for old Golfs, even Lupo GTIs. The Corrado has been undervalued for years.
Mental money would be what people ask for the Campaign edition Corrados but they don’t actually sell...

Campaign still prefer blackberry though.

I still like the 550... And this one has been owned by both Hammond & Metcalfe.

Re: Today’s want
Jaym on the youtubes recently got one of those. He’s doing a few vids on what it’s like to live with. Don’t float my boat really so I’ve not watched the vids but he’s totally smitten so it’s probably quite good.Coaster1 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 7:14 pmMega wantAscender wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 12:56 pm I still like the 550... Re: Today’s want
I just watched a bit of that... my ears might be broken or maybe the mic position is bad, but it sounds like about 5krpm max and not very musical.
(Try 1min30 to 2mins)
Re: Today’s want
Is this the fanny who cries about his mates Mclaren all the time?
How about not having a sig at all?

I can’t stand his videos, there’s one for an e36 he did which keeps popping up on my timeline but despite being a fanboy I can’t bring myself to watch it
Cheers, Harry
Re: Today’s want
Anyway, £63600 for Harry M’s 550; it makes a lot of other performance cars seem very overpriced!integrale_evo wrote: ↑Thu Sep 24, 2020 9:46 pm I can’t stand his videos, there’s one for an e36 he did which keeps popping up on my timeline but despite being a fanboy I can’t bring myself to watch it
Edit to add:
Isn’t that interestingsomebody on PH wrote: ↑Thu Sep 24, 2020 9:46 pm A red 550 previously owned by Harry/Evo and subsequently an ex TG presenter will be on CC shortly. I recall on the TG show many years ago Hammond stressing over the sills rusting and contemplating turning it into a track car. Think I'll give it a miss.
Re: Today’s want
They aren’t great and he rarely has done the research on the cars he’s driving, quite often admitting it. People seem to like chucking him their cars though to drive so he does produce a lot of videos. I only watch the ones with the stuff that really interests me.integrale_evo wrote: ↑Thu Sep 24, 2020 9:46 pm I can’t stand his videos, there’s one for an e36 he did which keeps popping up on my timeline but despite being a fanboy I can’t bring myself to watch it

Re: Today’s want
I like his enthusiasm but like you said he doesn't do much research and he can sometimes come across as a bit of a knob. This was the video that introduced me to his channel (obviously).drcarlos wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 6:56 amThey aren’t great and he rarely has done the research on the cars he’s driving, quite often admitting it. If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.
Re: Today’s want
I don't mind him though would agree his output is somewhat quantity over quality. Doesn't irritate me on anything like the same level as STG, JWW who I subscribe to (but watch only very occasionally) or Schmee who I do not.
Number 27 is a good watch IMO and has just bought a 147 GTA so there will be good entertainment to be had watching that disintegrate and/or explode over time.
I guess high £60s, 70s for those 550s would probably steer me in favour of a 599 of DBS manual at very slightly more (if I were looking for that kind of car). Rossa Corsa / Crema does nothing for me though so I could maybe be persuaded to change my mind if it were in a better colour...

Started to watch the Number27 video on the 147 today. That's a brave pill to take for a daily.GG. wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 9:52 am I don't mind him though would agree his output is somewhat quantity over quality. As noted earlier - bloke doing the Stratos build also has an Ultima. This isn’t helping my list for a UltimaRS.

I think it sounds best on the sports exhaust, nice bellow.
Is it an LS?
