Realised I could binge the entire Killing Eve so I finished it tonight. Brilliant that was, ending was great too.

I just started it and had to watch the second one straight away. Very good indeed.

Anyone watched Maniac on Netflix? Trying to find something to watch after Killing Eve.

I’m three episodes in, but can’t really get into it. Jonah Hill’s one-note morosity isn’t really helping.

The first few episodes of Series 2 of Big Mouth on the other hand have had me properly lolling. Puerile? Yes. Hilarious? Absolutely.

This. But I only managed three quarters of the first episode.

I've just watched the first 2 Killing Eve's. The female assassin is tidy, but Sandra Oh's gopping face always puts me off anything she's in. I'll stick with this though.

The Walking Dead was back last night

The stupid glass floor set piece at the beginning was STUPID. Why walk on or cross the glass floor when they didn’t even have to? The glass floor didn’t meet the stairs!! And what a shit thing there were trying to get - especially when they arrived on a horse drawn wagon

Also farcically enraged woman character, who apparently is totally unaware of where she lives and how the world she lives in works

Followed by an attempt at a dice into modern day politics

Looks like it’s going to be another shit season. Another shit season that I’ll of course be watching

I was bit premature recommending Wanderlust. Last week's hour-long episode was just her in front of her shrink, and this week's was dull and vague. After about 35 minutes I skipped to the end to see what happened, whether there was a moral or something. The only word which passed either of the main characters' lips (and possibly the only sound) in the last minute sounded like 'Meh'. Which was apt.

Finished Killing Eve last night. I think it tailed off in the last few episodes and there were a few shark jumps that felt a little odd, but overall I enjoyed it. A bit too much “standard overpowering BBC soundtrack” but it just about got away with it.

Watched the original Prime Suspect last night on Netflix - still very good. Pleased to see Jane Tennyson drove a grey BX 4X4 GTI 😂

It's been excellent, hasn't it. I was slightly surprised at the speed with which Season 4 came round but I'm now on tenterhooks for Season 5.

American Gods

Just watched the first episode. Outstanding TV! It has a really strong visual theme and I'm looking forwards to watching more.

Helps if you've read the book. I won't say that I fully understand things yet, but I recognise enough to keep me watching for at least one more episode.

Agreed

That wide shot in the desert with the two characters silhouetted was incredible

I watched Episode 8 last night and spent some while trying to find 9 before I realised that was it. Quite an unsatisfying end to an otherwise excellent series.

I agree. After Barry's comment I assumed I had just missed episode 9.

Wasn't too impressed actually. Thought the plot was contrived and the characters ridiculous. Especially Eve, who's obsession makes no sense at all

Watched the first series ages ago and liked it.
I had already read the books though.
Been waiting a long time for s2 though. Wonder if it has actually been commissioned
