Crap drivers pt138572

Post by Mito Man »

Saw a small dark blue car, possibly a Ford Fiesta going the wrong way down the A299 dual carriageway
Just flashed my lights at oncoming traffic for a few miles but won’t be surprised if it’s ended badly.
Road was pretty busy as the A2 was closed so much of the cross channel traffic was using the A299 instead.
Did see 3 police cars about 10 minutes later going down the A2 presumably to deal with the imbecile.

In other crap driving news last week I gave way to an Esso tanker so it could enter the petrol station (busy crossroads and had I not given way I would have blocked the entrance). So driver turns in from across the road into forecourt and completely misjudges the Transit in front of me. From under the trailer I just see a transit jump half a metre in the air as it clips it rather heavily!
Felt a bit guilty about giving way afterwards!
How about not having a sig at all?

In a mini Toyota people carrier we travel to and from work each day with a local driver.

I’ve had to say the following....

“Stop crashing into TukTuks on purpose”
“Stop pushing motorbikes off the road”
“You need to stop crashing”

So we got a new driver as my spidey sense couldn’t keep up with his fuckwittery.

The new driver is now banned from overtaking at all as we nearly had a head-on while driving back at night. I had to grab his shoulder when he realised flashing his main beam wouldn’t make the bus we were heading towards stop to let him through.

The only time I genuinely thought I was going to meet my maker. I’m hourly paid, we can take our time

My missus has hit parked cars twice in the last two weeks, today she reversed into a Range Rover - actually denting in one of her parking sensors.. I asked why she didn’t stop when it beeped and she has gone to bed in a huff...

One of the cars she hit wasn’t a black VW Lupo, was it? ;)

My wife went to bed in a huff yesterday after we'd had a couple of nonsensical arguments. They really hate when you ask is it "special week" .

Ah, while I quite miss the companionship and whatnot of having a relationship, remembering this sort part.....

....yeah, suddenly I feel a lot better about being single again.

I don't handle that sort of behaviour well. Probably why my relationships don't tend to get too far

It’s amazing the number of cars you see with mangled rear bumpers despite almost everything having a reversing sensor these days. Wonder if it’s like when Mercedes Benz offered ESC and there were more accidents because of it due to drivers taking more liberties.
