kids on bikes not paying attention and getting hit by my car

Post by Jimmy Choo »

He's fine.

The fuckwit rode out between cars queuing in the left hand lane at a roundabout without looking. I was moving in the empty right hand lane. Fortunately, I was already braking so my reaction time was significantly reduced but I still couldn't stop in time and ended up with my front wheel parked on his front rim. His right leg was up so the car hit his pedal/crank and he didn't hit his head on the floor.

The idiot didn't have a helmet and had headphones in.

I'm a bit shaken up, the mini has a couple of new scratches. Hopefully, he's learned a lesson but I doubt it.

Kid as in kid or kid as in teenager? The former are able to learn from their mistakes.

Charge the fucker, it seems to be the done thing

My 12yr old son bounced off a parked car 2 weeks ago after the owner stepped out of her garden in front of him and he swerved to avoid her.

Cheeky bitch charged him £100 to fix the ding as he shouldn't have been on the pavement even though the alternative is navigate a big busy roundabout that feeds 4 slips roads to the M4.

If he’d been 17 Carlos, I think she’d probably have a reasonably fair point. But a 12yr old navigating a busy roundabout? :?
