I was at a funeral today (mate’s wife, big C). During the service someone broke into several cars, including the daughter of the deceased, taking handbags etc. This was in the cemetery car park so it’s obvious that anyone parking a car there is attending a funeral. Utter fucking bastards.

It’s shocking what society has gone down to. I hope everyone is ok though and there’s nothing more than the hassle of a few relatively common and minor missing items to replace rather than anything sentimental or expensive.

As for the perpetrator I hope they’re found, I doubt they could even contribute towards the cost of damage but hopefully they’ll be put straight somehow. I can’t help but think petty crime is seen as an easy option in life because people know the police aren’t resourced to investigate these things properly and as south it’s only crimes where people are physically harmed that are investigated.

Dealing with the small stuff will ultimately fix the larger problems.

Hopefully Priti Patel delivers on some of her promises.

Without wishing to start a political row, the Conservatives, as usual, have identified the problem correctly and then chosen exactly the wrong solution. We don’t need more prison places, we need less crime.

It's an incredibly scummy thing to do but incredibly scummy people aren't a new invention and it's unlikely that the tories are going to fix a problem they had a big hand in causing.

Yep that’s pretty fucked up. Last month my friend’s Ring cameras caught an old guy with a DSLR camera peering round his garden. Last month we had good weather so his kids were probably out playing. Sadly the CCTV just shows the man with a camera walking past the driveway and front of the house and then leaving 15 mins later. Still they arrested him and then released him a day later as they couldn’t find any pictures but it’s fucked up all the same and he lives locally.

I'm happy with deporting anyone found guilty of committing a crime, even if they're from here. But only to war zones.
