Depends on your definition of food poisoning. The E. coli or Campylobacter trots for 5 days stuff is hard to pin down but if you get Staph aureus / Bacillus cereus (onset in 2-6 hours, 24H of really very impressive heaving) it's not hard.
See Woo Chinese supermarket on Saracen Street in Glasgow has all the kinds of noodle pots a chap could ever desire. Not pot noodles though as they are utter filth
