Moorland setting on fire in mild temperatures
If this can stop before it gets to our house, that would be super!
Of all the things I expected living here, wildfire from 'heat' wasn't one of them!
It's only been 24 degrees FFS, I wonder what actually started it, if all the grass is dry up there it wouldn't take much I suppose.

You know the ambient air temperature has nothing to do with the fire, right?

Aye, it's getting a bit warm up here by all accounts!, a bit further up the moor, about a 15 minute walk away, I can see the smoke and a bit of an amber glow but no flames yet thankfully.

Re: Moorland setting on fire in mild temperatures
Moorland setting on fire in mild temperatures = usually caused by inconsiderate cunts.
See also the shit loads of rubbish lying around the countryside after this weekend's lovely weather.
And this for the parks.

That's still lower than the melting point of gold.

I don't think there'd be any air as we know it if the ambient temp was 800C.Richard wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2019 3:52 pmWhat if the ambient air temperature was 800C?NotoriousREV wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2019 9:55 pm You know the ambient air temperature has nothing to do with the fire, right?

If a moorland is burning but no one sees it burn, is it really burning?
How about not having a sig at all?
