Thanks for the concern. I’m genuinely fine right now, I’m not in any danger at all and feeling pretty positive (now). I’m extremely lucky in that I can support myself without a job for a good while yet which will give me the time I need to get myself better, both mentally and physically.

I don’t have a plan for what’s next. I could start looking for another job similar to my last one. I’d have no trouble doing that, but I don’t want to at the moment. I genuinely want to do something different but haven’t the foggiest what that might be, though. It’ll be fun finding out, though.

Yes, what others have said. Focus on your family, take a couple of weeks off and then see what you want to do.

As luck would have it, we’re off to the south of France for 10 days from next week and have tickets to the Monaco GP. Well, I’ve paid for the tickets, they’ve not actually arrived yet...

A brave move in itself, fair play Dave. If you want a social/ride/rant just holler as always. A good bimble round Wales clears the mind I find.

All the best Dave. At the end of the day you're no dummy so even something seemingly rash won't be done out of stupidity and as you say you have the means to not be in any bother. Take some time, figure shit out - home in time for tea and medals.
