Ryanair
Re: Ryanair
Seems fair enough.
Does anyone not have a story citing negative experience(s)?

Re: Ryanair
Me! Mostly because I've never used them
Re: Ryanair
Yep - sleazyjet far far superior IMO. No idea why anyone flies with Ryanair for the marginal additional saving but significant extra unpleasantness.
Re: Ryanair
Nothing wrong with Easyjet whatsoever as far as LCCs go. Norwegian is spot on as well.
Ryanair are cunts and that basically wraps this thread up nicely. Hateful way of doing business.

Re: Ryanair
I went to Spain last month and came back with Ryanair as it was £29. I then had to pay an extra £7 to make sure my case went in the cabin as I was bamboozled by booking so luckily managed to download their app in Spain to book the whatever priority thing I needed. The flight itself was more or less on time and although the fake plastic leather on the seats was a little sticky it was really no worse than an other carrier I have used.
The flight out was FlyBe I think and it was £150!

Re: Ryanair
Often you have no choice. I can't fly to visit my parents without using them. I've never had any bother either. Must be lucky I guess!
Re: Ryanair
I've used Norwegian a few times in the last year. They're priced like a LCC but don't seem to behave like one. Genuinely refreshing.

Re: Ryanair
Exactly that. Tbh if someone else had paid for the ticket, I don't think I'd have even known they were a LCC. Typical brilliant Norwegian efficiency and service.
Re: Ryanair
Yep, another thumbs up for Norwegian. Shows that it can be done.
Re: Ryanair
Flydubai is also really good. Makes Ryanair look like the shitstorm it really is. There can't be many companies who openly admit to trying to con their customers.

Re: Ryanair
One of my younger sisters (don't ask/I'll cut you) used to be cabin crew for Ryanair and now works for Norwegian. As an employer Norwegian are infinitely better. I don't know how Ryanair manages to get away with so openly fucking over staff and customers and yet carry on making vast profits. It seems price does win over everything to enough people. There's people who would happily fly in a dog cage if it meant saving a tenner each way.

Is this a good time to urge you all to visit Norway, if you haven't already? It might just be the nicest country I've ever visited.

I want to go back for a(nother) driving holiday, just not via Le Shittle atm; http://www.kentonline.co.uk/folkestone/ ... wn-187006/

Re: Ryanair
Ryanair are scumbags I avoid wherever possible. Easyjet are OK and as a Yorkshireman I'll have to say a big thumbs up for Jet2. Always been spot on when I've used them.
Re: Ryanair
I've used Ryan air a couple of times and haven't had any problems
I suspect if I carried on using them my luck would run out.
I used British Airways for the first time and they were disappointing.
