I also hate raw tomato and raw peppers, but live both cooked.
I like cucumber but will rarely eat raw tomatoes. I like the fleshy bit but not the seedy bit. I also avoid cherry tomatoes as I hate the way they pop as you bite them. These dislikes aren't bad enough that I would leave them if they were put on my plate, but they wouldn't be there by choice.

Oh I still eat them. A bit of indigestion doesn't knock me on my arse.

My grandma used to make sliced pickled cucumber. Delicious! I wish I had some of that.

I used to hate the thought of beetroot as a kid, but I love it now. I’ll eat it most days.

Different strokes eh - that's the most satisfying part of cherry tomatoes.

Indeed.

Beetroot hummus and beetroot with feta cheese works particularly well.

Agreed, falafel, hummus, beetroot, tomatoes, something leafy and chilli sauce in a pitta is the best food.

TBH I’ve been known to just have a tub of hummus and a baguette for dinner :).

I make a beetroot juice. The resultant trip to the toilet looks like a horror slasher movie.

5 pages in and nobody has mentioned tripe? Boke.

Cooked mushrooms I do not like and cooked spinach but generally I will try stuff. I love Haggis Neeps & Tatties so most other food probably comes in to the "less gross than" category! :)
